Naphthalene
Naphthalene is a white solid which they call white tar or tar camphor. Naphthalene is used in moth balls and moth flakes. You can be exposed to Naphthalene by drinking contaminated water from wells, breathing in air from burning wood or tobacco or fossil fuels. Naphthalene can destroy red blood cells and can cause Hemolyitc Anemia. The symptoms of the anemia are lack of appetite, restlessness and pale skin.
